BEST OF THE BEST NATIONAL OWNER-HANDLED SERIES IN GROUP SHOWS, INDEPENDENT SPECIALTIES, AND CONCURRENT SPECIALTIES • SATURDAY
ESTABLISHED IN 2019
Each Independent Specialty and Concurrent Specialty National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS) Best of Breed winner and each Group Show NOHS Best in Group Show winner is eligible to compete. In cases where there are back-to-back events or multiple eligible events of the same breed, a breed may have multiple winners in the final Best of the Best NOHS Best of the Best Spectacular competition. Ownership eligibility to handle in NOHS competitions apply to this special attraction. There may be no substitution of dogs in this competition. Best of the Best NOHS, Best of the Best Reserve NOHS and four Award of Merits will be chosen. Dogs must be handled by an owner of record in this competition.
FINAL COMPETITION FOR BEST OF THE BEST SPECTACULAR BEST OF THE BEST JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP IN GROUP SHOWS, INDEPENDENT SPECIALTIES, AND CONCURRENT SPECIALTIES • SUNDAY
ESTABLISHED IN 2022
The Independent Specialty, Concurrent Specialty and each Group Show Best Junior is eligible to compete and must handle the same dog that was handled by the Junior at the respective Independent Specialty, Concurrent Specialty or Group Show unless there is reason for a substitution as recognized by the American Kennel Club. In cases of substitution, the dog handled in the Best of the Best Junior Showmanship competition must meet the same breed eligibility requirements as the dog entered and exhibited at the Specialty or Group Show and be the same breed represented by the specific Specialty or Group Show. In cases where there are back-to-back events or multiple eligible events of the same breed, a breed may have multiple winners in the final Best of the Best competition. Best of the Best Junior Showmanship, Best of the Best Reserve Junior Showmanship and four Award of Merits will be chosen.

The Best of Breed winner at each Independent Specialty and Concurrent Specialty is eligible to compete. In cases where there are back-to-back events or multiple eligible events for a breed, a breed may have multiple winners in the final Best of the Best competition. A spayed or neutered dog or bitch that wins its Independent Specialty or Concurrent Specialty will be eligible to compete as the Best of Breed winner from that Specialty. There may be no substitution of dogs in this competition. Best of the Best, Best of the Best Reserve, and four Award of Merit will be chosen.
BEST BRACE IN SHOW • MONDAY
BREED • GROUP • BEST BRACE IN SHOW
Competition is offered on Monday for dogs and bitches entered in the All-Breed, breed level Brace Class. The Brace entry that wins Best of Breed Brace in the non-regular, multiple-dog conformation class is eligible to compete at the Best Brace Group level. These winners will then compete for Best Brace in Show. There may be no substitution of dogs in this competition.

ESTABLISHED IN 2025
Competition is offered for AKC registered neutered and spayed dogs and bitches seven (7) years and under 11 years and age 11 and older (combined sexes) from Best of Breed Altered Veteran through Best Altered Veteran in Show. Only neutered dogs and spayed bitches are eligible to compete. (This competition is judged separately from all-breed judging in the same fashion as the 4-6 Beginner Puppy judging.) Dogs need not be entered in another class.
