- GROUNDS ENTRANCE – 19th Avenue & Monte Vista Road ONLY
- GROUNDS OPEN DATE & TIME – Grounds open to exhibitors for set up in the Backyard and Coliseum at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
- RV & BOX VAN CHECK IN – Reserved RV and Reserved Box Van check-in opens at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Check-In will be located in the North Lot off of 19th Avenue and Monte Vista.
RVs and Box Vans MUST present reservation confirmation to gain access at no charge when parking fees are being collected. An RV & Box Van Access Pass will be emailed to the email address indicated on the reservation shortly after closing on January 14, 2026; this must be shown to the ticket booth agent upon entering the Fairgrounds.
Without a Reserved RV parking confirmation, daily parking fees are $70.00 per RV, per day, in Day-of-Show Parking ONLY. Box Vans without a confirmation will pay the oversize vehicle parking rate to enter the grounds; parking is in Day-of-Show Parking ONLY. Parking fees are not refundable.
Although RVs and Box Vans can access their reserved spaces beginning at 2:00 p.m., the showgrounds do not open for setup until 4:00 p.m.
Check-in times are indicated below; note limited check in times Friday through Monday – If you arrive outside of the listed check-in times, park your RV or Box Van in the Staging Area until Check-in opens (follow signage); if you have a Reserved RV or Box Van space you may work from your RV in the Staging Area. PLAN ARRIVAL ACCORDINGLY.

- TOW VEHICLES/TAG ALONG VEHICLES must be noted on your reservation! Tag Along Vehicles must arrive with the RV or Box Van. Tow and Tag Along vehicles leaving the grounds and returning are subject to Day-of-Show parking fees. RV AND BOX VAN PARKING GENERAL INFORMATION
Reservations for Reserved RV and Reserved Box Van parking are online only and open on November 5, 2025 at Noon. Overnight Reserved RV parking fees are based on the number of nights; Box Van reserved parking fees are calculated on the number of days. Power is available for a one-time, additional charge; spaces with electric access are limited and are first-come, first-served. An RV & Box Van Access Pass will be sent electronically after the close of entries. The RV & Box Van Access Pass applies only to the specific RV or Box Van and not to vehicles traveling with them.

- The deadline for reserved RV or Box Van parking is Wednesday, January 14, 2026. Payment must be received when the reservation is submitted. A $35.00 charge will be assessed on all declined payments and on any payments for which the payee has stopped payment. If payment is stopped before or after closing, the payee may be denied access to Reserved RV & Box Van Parking at current and future events and will be responsible for all expenses incurred by Heart of the Desert ClassicTM regarding the stop payment and/or collection of fees owed. Anyone who cancels a reservation prior to closing will have their payments refunded after the shows.

- Space requested after the deadline or at the event will be charged an additional $25.00 per day/night for reserved parking.

- No refund of fees for parking and electricity if cancellations are made after closing of entries.

- Spaces will be assigned based on the date received and whether electricity is requested and available. Exhibitors wanting to park together must arrive together.

- A reserved space is approximately 22’ x 40’. Longer vehicles will be accommodated, as possible, at no additional cost. If additional width is required, an additional space must be reserved.

- Spaces are on asphalt. Ground cover is recommended.

- Generators are allowed in non-electric spaces only in Area 1 North Lot and Area 3 South Lot reserved parking and may be used from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The Clubs reserve the right to require vertical venting if exhaust creates a nuisance to other exhibitors or animals.

- Trailers may be required to be unhitched. Vehicles towed, on a trailer, or any tag along vehicle parked in the RV space that exit the grounds will be required to pay the Day-of-Show parking fee upon re-entry during periods when fees are collected.

- All vehicles and equipment must be confined to the assigned space. There is no overnight parking allowed in areas designated as Day-of-Show or Box Van Parking.

- Vehicles must be self-contained. No blackwater (sewage) or graywater may be released in any area other than the approved dump site for blackwater (sewage) and graywater. A dump site is available on the grounds; check with RV parking personnel for information.

- Equipment may be left outside overnight in reserved spaces at the owner’s risk.

- Outdoor grilling and open fires are not permitted on the grounds except by approved food vendors.

- NO STAKING OF TENTS ALLOWED anywhere on the grounds. All tents and canopies must use appropriately sized weights in compliance with Fire Marshall requirements.

- Exhibitors are responsible for clean-up of their reserved space. All trash must be bagged and deposited in containers provided on the grounds. Any shavings used must be bagged, the bags deposited in an appropriate outdoor trash receptacle and the area swept and cleaned. Care should be taken that shavings do not blow over into other spaces.

- All RVs and Box Vans must be equipped with a fire extinguisher installed in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards which require that the fire extinguisher be located within 24 inches of the primary exit or means of escape. It is highly recommended that CO2 and propane detectors be installed in all RVs and Box Vans.

- RVs may dry camp ($70.00 per night) at the Arizona Exposition and State Fair beginning Sunday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m., through Wednesday, January 28 at 2:00 p.m., or after the shows on the night of Monday, February 2, 2026. HODC will collect all fees. These RVs will be parked in a holding area in the North Lot until Reserved Parking opens. From East Valley and Southern Arizona Cities:
From I-10 westbound, take exit #143 C (19th Avenue exit). Make a right (north) on 19th Avenue. Pass McDowell Road to the Monte Vista entrance.
From the West Valley:
From I-10 eastbound, take exit #142 (27th Avenue exit). Make a left (north) on 27th Avenue to Thomas Road. Turn right on Thomas (east) and continue to 19th Avenue. Make a right (south) on 19th Avenue to the Monte Vista entrance.
From the North Valley:
Take I-17 to exit #197 (19th Avenue, State Capitol exit). Travel north on 19th Avenue to the Monte Vista entrance.
